The Booming Fireworks

BOOM!

The fireworks start!

There’s a sizzling blast,

Which comes with a boom!

They’re off in the snowy, cold night.

There are red and purple.

No, wait!

It’s blue and a sizzling white.

There are so many colors!

Now there are at least twenty fireworks going off!

I mean it’s like BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!

Just so many!

It’s amazing!

Now the crowd is going wild.

Now that was amazing!

Now one’s firing at me.

Oh, no!

Ahhhhh!

BOOM!

Reed’s Heroic Battle (chapter 3)

Chapter 3:  Reed Destroys the Cyclops

Reed ran and grabbed at the sword.  He pulled and pulled, but no use.  The giant came closer!  Then he had a brilliant idea!  He jumped and watched the Cyclops smack the sword out.  The Reed caught the sword and yelled in triumph!

While the giant whimpered like a two year old baby, Reed laughed and said, “Ha!  You big baby!  You’re pathetic!”

The Cyclops cried, “Please, I beg for mercy.”

It ended with the sword contacting the Cyclop’s head.  He grabbed it like a trophy and cheered.  Then he brought home the biggest feast ever, with eyeball as dessert.  It tasted pretty good.

Reed’s Heroic Battle (chapter 2)

Chapter 2:  Reed Screams in Horror!

Then the Cyclops grabbed two boulders and threw them at Reed and yelled, “You’re gonna pay for that, fool!”

Reed said, “Ha!  Like I’m afraid of one-eyed goons!”

The giant bellowed in rage!  He said, “Now you’re in for it!”

Then all of a sudden, he grabbed Reed and opened his disgusting mouth.  Then Reed started screaming.

Reed screamed, “Okay, for starters, do you brush?  Next is, AAAAHHHHH!  SAVE ME, MOMMY!  WAH!  WAH!”

Then he got control of himself and saw a weapon.  He knew it was the scythe from his Greek studies.  So he kicked the Cyclops in the eye and made him want to kill himself.

Reed’s Heroic Battle (chapter 1)

Chapter 1:  Reed Finds the One-Eyed Demon

Once upon a time, in Greek myths, there was a man (that’s right, man, young man) named Reed.  He was big, strong, and of course, HANDSOME.  One day when hunting in the woods, he saw a cave.  He knew something ugly and deformed was in there.  Something like what a frog would look like after being squeezed by a car.  Anyway, his curiosity took over, and he wanted to see what was in the cave.  It was nasty, ugly, and of course destroying.  It was a, a, a Cyclops!  When the syclps saw him, he yelled, “Oh, look!  A tasty little snack!”

Reed yelled in reply, “Yeah, right.  Try to get me before I slice you to bits, ugly face.  Ha, ha, ha!”

My Poem is Black, Black, and Really Dark Black

Black is the silence and peace of the night.

Black is the softness of our cat.

Black is the color of the all powerful.

Black is the color after sunset.

Black is peace and quiet to the end of the poem.

Black is Pop’s stew.

Black is a python constricting you!

Black is a thunderstorm raining on you.

Black is the loss of a loved one.

Black is a nightmare walking toward you.

Bum, bum, bum!

This is what black is!
